OH, THE THINGS WE DON'T TALK ABOUT.
You set out to run a business, and within a couple of years it runs you. That is common.
Then over time, like erosion, you lose your oomph. Not suddenly, but gradually. It happens too slow to notice.
You know something isn’t right, but can’t quite put your finger on it.
At the start it made you feel alive. Now, you feel trapped. And you made the trap. So it is a blinking brilliant trap.
A sense of quiet desperation begins to rise.
But the feeling of being alive that went away, can come back.
We don’t lose our mojo.
We simply ignore it. Sometimes for decades.
It just needs a Re-spark.
This course is that Re-spark.
MOJO FALLING.
MOJO RISING.
Therefore, mend the leak.
"The object of life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, 'Holy shit, what a ride.”
Mojo is energy, your energy, my energy.
You’re the protector of this energy. And you have to look after this daily, hourly, and it's a full-time job.
People say that they lose their mojo and my thesis is, you don't actually lose your mojo.
But there is a leak.
If you think this is a store of energy ... If you think in terms of a radiator, like when it's hot it's a store of energy and when it's cold, it's a store of cold energy, but it's still a radiator. And when it's cold, it's still a radiator.
And if you think about the sea, it ebbs and flows, right? It's in and it's out, and when it's out, it's still the sea.
So the mojo isn't lost. We always have our mojo, but it's either hot or it's cold. It's either in or it's out.
Our mojo whispers to us quietly what we should be doing every day, and it tells us this is important, and this isn't, and we don't always listen.
We think we know better, but this innate thing in us is telling us: "No, I should be doing this, and yet I'm doing this."
If we ignore the mojo enough it loses its heat, and then we have mojo falling as opposed to mojo rising.
So, we have to work out what is draining our energy. And what gives us energy.
It may sound so blinking obvious, but we have to do Less of what STEALS our energy.
And MORE of what gives us energy.
The first THING to do for RESPARK is to find out where we are NOW.
Then, make a plan to get back to where we want to be.
Each lesson shares an important insight into how to keep your mojo rising.
And how they all work for each other. To work for you.
